This team is dedicated to enhancing user engagement and conversion to support our customers.

Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer-facing features and components across Content Management, Advertising, and Customer Relations. Additionally, promotional product pages, marketing features, and SEO initiatives fall under our team's ownership.

To expand our team, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (f/x/m) proficient in React and Frontend technologies, with solid knowledge of PHP.

We operate remotely, distributed, and collaboratively. Whether fully remote within Germany or on-site in our Berlin & Erlangen offices, we always work as a team, maintaining a customer-oriented and data-driven approach.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Continuously improve customer satisfaction through landing pages, specialized tools for accessing our assortment, helpful content and guides, and easily reachable customer service contact points.
  • Drive pivotal projects from development to production launch, including international advertising expansion and landing page enhancements.
  • Implement and maintain new and existing product features, from frontend to backend.
  • Conduct thorough automated unit and integration tests on both backend and frontend code to maintain high-quality standards, supplemented with manual testing. Quality assurance is a top priority.
  • Help propel the team forward, leading technical solution planning and ensuring project goals are met within expected timelines.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders and other engineering teams on business-critical projects and features.

What you should bring to the table

  • At least 5 years of current work experience as a Full-Stack or Frontend Developer working with React.
  • Deep knowledge of TypeScript and plain JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proficient with CSS3. Experience with Tailwind is advantageous.
  • Experience with Design Systems such as Storybook.
  • Hands-on experience with PHP.
  • Manage code & dependencies with Git and npm. Code quality is important to you, ideally secured by automated tests.
  • Code reviews are seen as a basis for exchanging constructive feedback, improving, and sharing knowledge.

  • Shop-Frontend: We use React & TypeScript on the client side, leveraging Tailwind for styling and design.
  • Shop-Backend: We are on PHP 8.4. We take full responsibility for our framework and adhere to established standards (e.g., PSR) during development.
  • We build and transpile everything our frontend needs using Webpack and Babel.
  • With Docker and Openshift, we are moving towards a container future.
  • MySQL & Memcached provide our customers with reliable and fast data.
