Senior Full-stack developer (PHP+React) with AI expertise

We're looking for an experienced Senior Full-stack Developer who takes ownership of features end-to-end and actively integrates AI tooling into their daily workflow.

You'll join a long-term project in the alternative investments domain, helping to improve and scale a platform that simplifies the entire investment process — from onboarding and compliance to reporting and insights.

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial full-stack experience, with substantial production work on PHP + Symfony on the backend and React + TypeScript on the frontend
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8.3, Symfony 5.4, API Platform, Doctrine, and Symfony Messenger
• Solid experience with React 17 + TypeScript
• Confident with MySQL; comfortable operating on AWS (EC2, RDS, DocumentDB, CloudWatch)
• Hands-on practice with AI spec-driven development — you actively use AI tooling as part of your daily workflow, not occasionally
• Self-directed — you can take a feature from spec to production without constant supervision
• English: C1 (Advanced) — comfortable in async written communication and on calls

Will Be a Plus

• Experience mentoring engineers or stepping into a tech lead role

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using PHP/Symfony and modern frontends in React/TypeScript
• Work across the full stack — own features from database schema to UI
• Use AI tools actively throughout the development cycle: code generation, spec-driven development, code reviews, and documentation
• Write and maintain tests using Playwright (TypeScript)
• Collaborate with the team via Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Figma
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to raising the team's technical bar

The platform transforms how financial institutions and advisors handle alternative investments. Instead of relying on manual, paper-heavy processes, it offers a streamlined digital workflow that improves accuracy, reduces errors, and provides transparency for investors.

The project has been running successfully for several years with a stable client relationship since 2019. The atmosphere within the team is highly collaborative, with strong support from both the client and TechMagic.

Work Schedule
