Overview
Synchtank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to our platform's comprehensive feature set, encompassing both backend services and modern user interfaces. This role demands strong PHP backend skills, particularly with Symfony, combined with proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js. You will play a key role in both architectural design and execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack features within a Symfony and Vue.js environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Build and extend integrations with third-party platforms and APIs.
- Refactor legacy components and lead modernization projects.
- Uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
- Document development processes, architecture, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 4 years specifically in Symfony and Vue.js.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Git.
- Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and query development using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Essential experience with Microsoft technologies such as VB.Net, C#, and SQL Server (including Stored Procedures), as this role involves a legacy transformation project to modernize web technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and proven ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A background in music or media technology is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
