Senior Full Stack Developer (Laravel & Vue.js, PHP, AWS)

About the Role: Senior Full Stack Laravel & Vue.js Developer

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. This role involves working across the entire technology stack, specializing in crafting performant APIs using Laravel and building dynamic, responsive user interfaces with Vue.js. The ideal candidate will own features end-to-end, contribute significantly to architectural decisions, and actively mentor junior teammates.

Our core technology stack includes Laravel 12, Vue.js, MySQL, Redis, and TailwindCSS.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do):

• Develop, test, and maintain full-stack functionality utilizing PHP 8.4 and Laravel 12.x.
• Build and consume robust RESTful APIs for both internal and external applications.
• Create responsive UIs using wireframes and mockups, leveraging Vue.js 2.x+ and TailwindCSS.
• Implement real-time features using technologies like WebSockets, Pusher, or Laravel Broadcasting.
• Design and optimize database schemas in MySQL; utilize DynamoDB for specific workloads.
• Manage critical AWS infrastructure components, including RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and related services.
• Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using CodeBuild and CodePipeline.
• Provide high-quality code reviews and help enforce team coding standards.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop and refine features.
• Document workflows, APIs, architecture decisions, and technical standards thoroughly.
• Mentor mid-level developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel/PHP development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Vue.js.
• High proficiency in modern PHP 8.x, unit testing, and RESTful API design principles.
• Strong understanding of MySQL, including schema design, optimization, and migrations.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience with AWS services (RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, ElastiCache).
• Experience defining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Solid command of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.
• Strong awareness of security best practices and data consistency protocols.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit or Pest.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and team settings).

Preferred Qualifications:

• TypeScript proficiency.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Background working on high-scale SaaS platforms.
