The core challenge is scaling the sale of Home Services within the Brazilian e-commerce market. You will join the team responsible for designing, scaling, and evolving solutions that connect products, people, and deliveries. Our mission is to reduce friction, delight customers, and optimize large-scale operations.
This role demands both a sharp technical eye and a strategic perspective. We seek someone who understands the business, questions the status quo, and leverages technology to propel MadeiraMadeira forward. As a Senior Fullstack Developer, your primary mission is building distributed, scalable, and resilient systems, ensuring intelligence and efficiency throughout the customer journey.
You will operate within a squad that has direct business visibility, contributing to decisions that impact thousands of customers daily. Beyond development, we expect you to inspire, collaborate, and actively contribute to the technical evolution of the team and the entire area.
Work Model: Hybrid (São Paulo and Curitiba) or Remote (Rest of Brazil).
Responsibilities
Activities you will lead:
- Create technical standards and assist the team in expanding technical knowledge.
- Develop and maintain microservices and APIs, prioritizing performance, security, and scalability.
- Design and implement distributed architectures, applying best practices such as Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and efficient use of messaging and containers.
- Ensure high availability and resilience of critical systems through robust monitoring and observability practices.
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and other squads, deeply understanding business challenges before proposing technical solutions.
- Mentor team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Organize deliverables with a strong sense of priority and impact, always focusing on the customer experience.
- Actively participate in technical decisions within the Home Services ecosystem, exercising autonomy and ownership.
Qualifications: Technical Skills / Hard Skills
To excel, you need knowledge of:
Back-end
- Node.js and Python (Desirable: Java and PHP).
- Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Messaging systems: Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Containers and DevOps: Docker, Docker Compose, Git, GitHub Actions.
- Cloud platforms: AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
- Observability tools: New Relic, Grafana, CloudWatch.
Front-end
- React (props, hooks, componentization, styled-components, Context API, Axios, Redux).
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Desirable: micro-frontends.
