Job Brief
We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress Frontend Developer to implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. This role involves implementing WordPress themes and plugins, managing site integration, and ensuring security updates.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and functionality.
- Establish and guide the website’s architecture.
- Ensure high performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the Content Management System (CMS).
- Formulate effective, responsive designs and convert them into working WordPress themes and plugins.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Proven experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications.
- Demonstrated experience in developing responsive design websites.
- Proficiency with debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector.
- Ability to comprehend CSS changes and their impact to maintain consistent styling across various platforms and browsers.
- Skill in converting comprehensive layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages.
- Essential knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.
- Extensive experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, including Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
- Understanding of PHP back-end development.
- In-depth understanding of WordPress Structure and Plugins.
- Exposure to WooCommerce projects.
- Experience with WordPress multi-network and multi-lingual sites.
- Proficiency in 3rd Party integration on WordPress sites.
- Experience with a diverse range of WordPress themes, including X-Theme, Astra, Avada, Bridge, Divi, Engage, and GeneratePress.
