Senior Drupal Developer - Cloud Technologies

VEscape Labs, a technical development firm specializing in cloud technologies, is seeking a Senior Drupal Developer with deep expertise in architecting, building, and maintaining enterprise-level Drupal websites. What You'll Do:

• Lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise-grade Drupal solutions serving multiple business units.
• Establish and maintain Drupal architecture standards, coding guidelines, and reusable component libraries.
• Design and develop custom modules, themes, and integrations using PHP, Twig, and JavaScript.
• Define deployment and configuration-management workflows for multi-environment setups.
• Optimize site performance, caching, and scalability across global hosting environments.
• Partner with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to align Drupal deployments with enterprise policies.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, hosting solutions, or frameworks for modernization efforts.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and champion adherence to accessibility and security standards.

What You'll Bring:

• Expert proficiency with Drupal 9/10, PHP, Twig, Composer, and Drush.
• Strong understanding of Drupal architecture, including entities, hooks, services, and configuration management.
• Solid experience with MySQL design, performance tuning, and migration strategies.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative CI/CD environments.
• Deep understanding of Drupal security, permissions, and governance frameworks.
• 7+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized Drupal environments.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-tenant Drupal installations.
• Exposure to Acquia Cloud, Pantheon, or AWS/Azure-hosted Drupal environments.
• Knowledge of headless/decoupled Drupal architectures and integration with React or Angular.
• Understanding of enterprise CMS governance, release management, and content workflow automation.
