The Role: Senior DevOps Cloud Azure

Reporting to the Manager, Product Development, the Senior DevOps Cloud Azure specialist collaborates closely with a DevOps team lead and other specialists. This role is crucial for designing high-quality infrastructure in Azure, streamlining the development and deployment process, implementing optimal technologies, and enhancing the developer experience.

Key Product Focus

You will be working primarily on Equisoft /Manage, a cloud SaaS Policy Administration System. This platform streamlines insurance operations, offering a seamless experience for providers and clients. It enables providers to reduce hosting costs, achieve stellar speed-to-market, utilize state-of-the-art integration, and maintain security and compliance. The platform also features advanced analytics and reporting tools for customer behavior insights.

Your Day with Equisoft

  • Collaborate with the development team to facilitate the overall development process.
  • Automate and align CI/CD processes (building, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading application technologies).
  • Diagnose production issues and coordinate with the development team for code deployment alignment.
  • Manage environment controls and access permissions.
  • Administer the development environment and provide support to the development team.
  • Document new technologies and implemented processes.
  • Evaluate system performance, availability, and security, recommending configuration restructuring as needed.
  • Investigate problems and apply corrective measures to the systems under responsibility.
  • Optimize cloud usage to achieve operational cost reduction.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in development environments.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in delivery and automation.
  • Experience with cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, and Bash.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python, PHP, Bash, NodeJS).
  • Good knowledge in SaaS technology integration realization.
  • Knowledge of web application development.
  • Ability to create scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or other languages.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
