The Mission:
As a Sr. Data Engineer at Baubap, your mission is to design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data processing systems. These systems will support our ambitious Data Science projects. You will collaborate closely with our Data Science and Risk Management teams, empowering them with high-quality data for informed decision-making and advanced Machine Learning solutions. Your expertise will be vital in enabling Baubap to provide exceptional microloan services and achieve our goal of becoming the most inclusive digital bank in LATAM.
The Expected Outcome:
- Maintenance and optimization of key data processing pipelines.
- ML Infrastructure Scale up.
- Implementation of Risk Monitoring Procedures to provide oversight over internal pipelines.
The Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines.
- Ensure data integrity, monitoring, and resolution.
- Optimize query performance.
- Develop purpose-built backend logic.
- Manage and scale ML Ops Infrastructure.
- Provide documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.
