We are looking for a Business Analyst to work on a project for a large educational institution, a renowned group in the sector. Initially, this is a temporary project with the expectation of an extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured interviews with stakeholders and demanding areas
- Map current processes and design future flows
- Document functional and non-functional requirements
- Decompose scope into User Stories with acceptance criteria and explicit business rules
- Prepare and maintain a structured Product Backlog aligned with the strategic roadmap
- Prioritize stories and epics according to business value, urgency, and technical dependencies
- Refine stories before sprint planning, ensuring clarity for the development team
- Evaluate the impact of scope changes and communicate them to the project manager
- Participate in daily meetings, refinements, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Clarify doubts during development, providing business context
- Validate acceptance criteria with QA, review test cases, and critical scenarios
- Document requirement defects and prioritize corrections
- Present implemented evolutions to managers and stakeholders, demonstrating functionality and added value
- Create business documentation
- Prepare support materials
Required Skills & Experience:
Required Knowledge
- Experience with process and flow mapping
- Documenting functional and non-functional requirements
- Advanced knowledge in Business Analysis
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into software solutions
- Effective Communication
- Knowledge of SQL
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the development team
- Knowledge of Testing and Validation
- Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies
- Experience in the educational sector
Desirable Knowledge
- PHP
