We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Backend Engineer to join our dedicated Communications team. This team is pivotal for the Unified Inbox module, which significantly enhances Guest-Host communication (including email, SMS, WhatsApp, and OTA messages). It empowers Property Managers with time-saving AI features, automations, templates, and scheduling capabilities.
The Communications team manages substantial data volumes and requests, interacting with diverse and complex APIs. Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in SaaS software development (production live product)
- Strong proficiency in PHP and/or Golang, with a willingness to work with both
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful web APIs
- Familiarity with transitioning event-driven service-oriented architectures using Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles
- Experience in writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests
- Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS is a plus)
- Experience with message queues (e.g., AWS SQS) is a plus
- English language level C1
