About the Role
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing and evolving the core of our banking system and API strategy, while continuously improving the product experience for both clients and internal teams. You will actively participate in building the new backend architecture for our Sogexia client portal and banking backend, utilizing the latest technologies and an API-first approach (API Gateway, REST) within a modular, scalable, and flexible multi-service architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve internal components of the banking processing system.
- Actively participate in the development and evolution of our API strategy, using a modern testing and integration approach.
- Maintain the existing Sogexia application and propose continuous improvements.
- Develop new features while optimizing application performance and robustness.
- Apply development best practices: SOLID principles, design patterns, modular architecture.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to understand and effectively meet their needs.
- Provide technical expertise and contribute to the skill development of other developers.
Required Skills & Experience
Prerequisites
- Minimum 4 years of experience in PHP development.
- Mastery of PHP frameworks, especially Symfony.
- Experience developing REST APIs and/or API Platform.
- High expertise in CI/CD and Docker.
- Autonomy, ability to work in a team, and technical proposal strength.
Additional Assets
- Experience deploying gateway architectures (Kong, SSO).
- Experience with other languages: Python, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin.
