RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
- Write readable and maintainable code, resolve bugs, and participate in defining tools, technologies, and processes in line with software engineering best practices;
- Implement high-complexity solutions autonomously, ensuring delivery and mitigating risk of delay by identifying requirement issues early;
- Conduct analyses to support sound technical decisions;
- Elevate the team's software quality testing standards, identifying and mitigating risks at the code, feature, and project levels;
- Own the solution design process, taking into account risks and dependencies related to technical decisions;
- Participate in incident resolution within your scope of work;
- Contribute to the backlog by identifying and suggesting system improvement opportunities, such as performance optimization, documentation, security, and integration testing;
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide mentorship through pair programming sessions and team presentations;
- Analyze the effort required for business demands and dependencies, using contextual insights to improve estimation accuracy and task prioritization.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Golang is a plus;
- Experience with the development and integration of REST APIs, gRPC, and microservices;
- Experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests);
- Experience with application performance monitoring and observability;
- Knowledge of application traceability to support efficient problem identification and resolution;
- Experience with BFF architecture, microservices, and external platform integrations;
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging (Apache Kafka);
- Experience with Docker and Git;
- Solid understanding of software development best practices (DDD, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, SOLID, etc.);
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB);
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PHP (legacy and modern) and related frameworks (Laravel);
- Knowledge of OpenAPI Specification (3.0/3.1);
- Knowledge of Hypermedia REST APIs (HATEOAS);
- Knowledge of API Management platforms;
- Experience with OAuth2;
