Your Tasks
- Analyze and further develop our existing system landscape and create a future-proof architecture using modern frameworks, tools, cloud approaches, and AI-supported development tools.
- Design and implement robust backend components and APIs, including clean documentation and a sustainable codebase.
- Migrate on-premise solutions to a scalable cloud architecture.
- Utilize Generative AI tools for code generation, refactoring, test case creation, and documentation.
- Identify technical challenges early and develop efficient, creative solutions.
- Drive technical discussions and architectural decisions within the team, focusing on customer benefit and quality.
- Perform code reviews, performance optimizations, and root cause analysis for bugs and stability issues, including developing concepts for sustainable improvement.
- Optimize and maintain our MySQL databases for maximum performance and maintainability.
What We Look For
- Completed degree or training in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in the development and advancement of complex backend systems, ideally in a lead or architect role.
- Excellent knowledge of PHP 8.x (Symfony 7.x+) and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI).
- Experience with .NET 8+ / C# and Entity Framework Core, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
- Experience with unit and integration tests (PHPUnit, PHPStan), CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Sound database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL) with a focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ).
- Experience with modern AI tools for development, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in both German and English.
- Independent, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment of complex challenges.
