We offer an exciting remote opportunity for students passionate about web development to join our IT team as a PHP & Laravel Developer Intern. This role provides hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications utilizing PHP technologies, specifically Laravel and CodeIgniter.
• Ensure application scalability, security, and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.
• High-Quality Coding Standards: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and company guidelines.
• Maintain structured and reusable code for easy maintenance and future scalability.
• Performance Optimisation: Continuously monitor, test, and optimize application performance to enhance speed, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Implement efficient database queries and caching mechanisms for improved performance.
• Stay Updated with the Latest Technologies: Keep current with emerging trends, frameworks, and best practices in PHP development (Laravel and CodeIgniter).
• Suggest and implement innovative technical improvements to enhance application functionality.
• Innovative Problem Solving: Provide creative and practical solutions to technical challenges.
• Contribute ideas for new features and system enhancements to improve the overall software experience.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Testing & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and debug application issues. Ensure proper testing of code before deployment to maintain system stability.
• Database Management: Work with MySQL or other relational databases to design, update, and optimize database structures. Maintain data integrity and security at all times.

Who Can Apply

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

1. Students currently pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, or Computer Engineering/IT-related fields.
2. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Ajax, and related web technologies.
3. Familiarity with frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
4. Basic understanding of database architecture and version control tools (e.g., GitHub).
5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
