Microtronix ESolutions, a full-service IT Solutions firm based in Ottoville, Ohio, provides comprehensive IT, infrastructure, web, and mobile software development services. We also operate our own in-house datacenter and web systems servers.
We are seeking a part-time, remote IT technician to support customers primarily in and around Ohio and Indiana.
Position Details
This is a part-time remote position. The technician must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to answer calls and email support. Active work is only required when specifically handling Microtronix tasks, allowing flexibility for other commitments during these hours.
The compensation range is $12.00 - $15.00 per hour, based on experience. This role is available as both a full-time and part-time opportunity.
Requirements for the Job
* Previous experience in IT, including working on and repairing computers.
* Mandatory experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 7, 8.1, 10, 11).
* Experience diagnosing hardware and software problems.
* Ability to work regular business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm availability).
* Must be located in one of three states: Ohio, Indiana, or Michigan.
* Strong customer service skills and ability to collaborate with customers to find solutions.
* Ability to self-learn using research to resolve new problems.
* Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques, including programming and web development. This is a learning position requiring a teachable candidate.
