Remote Magento 2 E-commerce Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Magento Developer to join our team. This role involves building, enhancing, and maintaining global online stores based on Magento, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and seamless user experiences. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to deliver robust e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) websites and modules.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and extensions.
• Design and implement a page builder for enhanced usability and speed.
• Optimize site performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best development practices.
• Maintain clean, organized, and testable code.
• Stay current with Magento and e-commerce technology trends.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of experience developing with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Knockout.js.
• Magento Expertise: Deep understanding of Magento architecture, themes, modules, and workflows.
• API Integration: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, third-party integrations, and payment gateways.
• Development Workflow: Familiarity with Composer, Git, and modern development workflows.
• Server Knowledge: Knowledge of Linux environments, web servers (Apache/Nginx), caching, and deployment methods.
• Optimization: Proven ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Magento 2 Certification (Developer, Front-End, or Solution Specialist) or Adobe Certifications.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, and Varnish caching technologies.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and Headless Commerce architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience working in an agile environment.
