What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically Laravel 8 and newer, demonstrating a deep understanding of the framework's architecture and capabilities.
• Proven expertise in MySQL database performance optimization, including identifying and resolving complex database bottlenecks.
• Strong hands-on experience in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries for large datasets. This includes a thorough understanding of EXPLAIN plans, indexing strategies (including composite indexes), and query rewriting techniques.
• Proficiency in database schema design and normalization/denormalization strategies to ensure scalability and data integrity, especially for high-volume transactions.
• Experience with Eloquent ORM and Laravel Query Builder, with a clear understanding of SQL generation and query optimization for performance.
• Experience working with complex, large-scale multitenant SaaS applications.
• Solid experience with Laravel Authentication and implementing robust backend security practices.
• Experience with testing tools like Pest PHP and PHPUnit to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing robust, scalable RESTful APIs in Laravel, focusing on performance and data efficiency.
• Experience with ReactJS is a plus.
• Ability to take extreme ownership of your work, consistently meeting agreed-upon expectations for estimates and process.
