We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the development of high-performance Magento 2 and Venia PWA storefronts in a fully remote environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a future-ready eCommerce ecosystem. From custom Magento 2 modules to React-powered Venia components, your contributions will directly impact the performance, scalability, and user engagement across global storefronts.
Key Responsibilities
Web Application Storefront Development and Integration
- Design and build reusable React components within Magento PWA Studio and Venia.
- Integrate Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce backends using GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Optimize API calls, payload sizes, and rendering performance to deliver fast, responsive storefronts.
- Ensure smooth integrations with POS, ERP, and other third-party systems.
- Make high-level architectural decisions and guide technical direction.
Magento Backend Development
- Design and develop custom Magento 2 modules to support evolving business needs.
- Maintain clean, modular PHP code adhering to strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Ensure consistent data flow between backend services and the PWA frontend.
- Improve caching strategies, query performance, and overall scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges with minimal downtime.
Venia PWA and UI Implementation
- Develop scalable Venia components that integrate seamlessly with Magento Page Builder and extensions.
- Translate UI and UX designs into responsive, accessible, and cross-browser interfaces.
- Optimize storefront performance using tools like Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools.
- Implement tracking, monitoring, and error handling for reliability and insights.
Quality Assurance and Best Practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with industry standards.
- Actively participate in and lead code reviews.
- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure application stability.
- Test solutions across Linux, Windows, and mobile environments.
Leadership and Innovation
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers.
- Promote coding standards and best practices across the team.
- Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve workflows.
- Drive process improvements that enhance productivity and code quality.
AI Is a Hard Requirement
This team expects developers who actively integrate AI into their workflow. You should be building and experimenting with:
- AI-assisted development workflows.
- Prompt engineering for code generation and optimization.

What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of React.js frontend development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript ES6+, React, PHP 7 and 8, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
- Deep knowledge of Magento REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Solid OOP principles and scalable architecture practices.
- Experience with Git branching, merging, and version control best practices.
- Adobe Commerce Professional Certification required, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams are essential.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS deployments and scalable infrastructure.
- CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket.
- Docker and containerized environments.
- Redis, sessions, and caching strategies.
