YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Experience with modern JavaScript ES6+.
• An expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Experience using any Frontend Frameworks/Libraries (e.g, React, Vue, AngularJS, etc).
• A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and debugging techniques using Chrome DevTools (Console, Network panels, etc).
• Experience with media queries.
• A knowledge of CSS platforms such as Twitter’s Bootstrap.
• Experience with the use of AI tools (e.g GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor, etc) to assist with things like boilerplate code generation, troubleshooting, workflow acceleration, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to clearly discuss ideas, technical concepts, and feedback.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to take initiative and ownership of your work.
• An ability to multi-task on multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
• Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style.
• A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
• The availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX.
• Experience with WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify.

YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Transform complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates.
• Create responsive website designs.
• Build websites with WordPress, extending and developing plugins and themes.
• Work with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create images optimized for the web.
• Work with version control systems such as GIT / SVN.
• Work under tight deadlines.
• Handle multiple projects at the same time.
• Produce high quality of work with a strong focus on detail.

For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this position ranges between $17 - $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. Compensation outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado may fall outside the specified ranges.
