YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficiency using Frontend Frameworks/Libraries (e.g., React, Vue, AngularJS).
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
- Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility and debugging techniques using Chrome DevTools (Console, Network panels, etc.).
- Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor) for boilerplate code generation, troubleshooting, and workflow acceleration.
- Experience with media queries and CSS platforms like Twitter’s Bootstrap.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for discussing technical concepts and feedback clearly.
- A proactive mindset, taking initiative and ownership of work.
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style.
- Positive attitude and ability to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX (preferred).
- Experience with e-commerce platforms: WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify (preferred).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.

YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates.
- Creating responsive website designs.
- Building and extending websites using WordPress, developing plugins and themes.
- Optimizing images for the web using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks.
- Working effectively with version control systems such as GIT / SVN.
- Handling multiple projects simultaneously and working under tight deadlines.
- Producing high-quality work with a strong focus on detail.
We evaluate candidates based on performance in our skills tests and will consider talented and diligent applicants even if traditional experience or educational background criteria are not fully met.
Compensation Details: Starting base pay for this position in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado ranges between $17 - $35 per hour. Compensation outside these states may vary. Final compensation depends on factors including experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered.
