About us
California Virtual Eating Disorder Experts (CVED Experts) is a premier telehealth treatment center for teens and adults. Our virtual Intensive Outpatient Program serves clients ages 13–70, and we're launching a Partial Hospitalization Program in 2027. We're the sister program of Joyful Therapy Group, an online therapy practice known for eating disorder and trauma care. Our clinicians are largely former clinical directors, and many of our providers have recovered from an eating disorder themselves.
The role
We're looking for an eating disorder–specialized Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. You'll provide individual nutrition therapy and lead nutrition groups for IOP clients, and you'll work closely with therapists, family therapists, case managers, recovery coaches and our psychiatric providers. This position reports to our Chief Officer of Nutrition and Program Operations.
What you'll do
- Provide individual nutrition counseling for adolescents and adults with anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, binge eating disorder and OSFED
- Lead nutrition education and meal-support groups via telehealth
- Complete nutrition assessments and create individualized meal plans
- Support families of adolescent clients, including family-based approaches
- Take part in our weekly treatment team meeting (Thursday mornings)
- Coordinate with clients' outside providers as part of our 360° care model
- Document all sessions in our EHR on time
What we're looking for
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- At least 2 years of eating disorder experience, ideally at a higher level of care (IOP, PHP or residential)
- CEDS-RD, or working toward it, preferred
- A weight-inclusive, non-diet, recovery-focused approach
- Comfortable delivering care by telehealth
- California resident; available Monday through Friday

Pay: $67,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
