Balderson Group is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This direct, in-house role offers work-from-home flexibility and is based in Perth. You will manage our trades recruitment desk, focusing on sourcing, screening, and placing skilled mechanical personnel with mining clients across Western Australia. What you'll be doing
- Source, screen, and place qualified tradespeople, including Heavy Diesel Fitters, Drill Fitters, Auto Electricians, and Servicemen, into surface and underground mining roles.
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline through job advertisements, database searches, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Manage the complete end-to-end recruitment process: candidate screening, interviews, reference and compliance checks, and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining and resources clients, understanding their specific workforce requirements.
- Maintain accurate records within our systems and provide reports on pipeline status and placements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, representing Balderson Group professionally.
What we're looking for
- Proven recruitment experience, ideally within trades, resources, mining services, or labour hire sectors, or a strong recruiter eager to transition into this field.
- Confident sourcing and screening skills, with a natural ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, capable of managing multiple recruitment roles simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously with work-from-home flexibility.
- WA-based with a current driver's licence.
