About Your New Role
As a Quality Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing software quality, reliability, and efficiency through the design and implementation of automated testing solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost test coverage, automate validation processes, and uphold the highest quality standards across our PHP (Laravel) and React platforms.
We are seeking a passionate individual dedicated to building robust, scalable test automation frameworks and fostering a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing across PHP (Laravel) and React platforms.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD workflows, ensuring rapid and reliable software releases.
- Contribute to quality engineering initiatives, including test coverage reporting, benchmarking, and continuous improvement.
- Support the adoption of TDD, BDD, and other automation best practices, while maintaining technical documentation for processes and frameworks.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support team and organizational success.
What You'll Need for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in automation, quality engineering, and scalable test solutions.
- Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript (React), and testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, PHPUnit, or Playwright.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cross-browser testing, and test coverage metrics.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Exposure to security testing, performance testing, or quality monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and software quality metrics.
