Key Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive functional tests for both web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for functional and non-functional tests, including defect reports, to ensure high software quality assurance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Academic Background: Must hold a degree or be a graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Software Testing Expertise: Proven experience in executing various types of software tests, including unit, component, integration, systems, smoke, alpha, beta, and acceptance testing.
- Hands-on experience with application testing.
- Proficiency in API testing.
- Active participation throughout the software development life cycle.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- General understanding of programming languages (Java or PHP desirable).
- Strong analytical skills, composure, and abstract thinking.
- Excellent spelling and written communication.
- Ability to design effective test plans.
- Skill in defining robust test strategies.
- Experience in elaborating test matrices (CPS).
- Capability to assign and manage team activities.
- Desirable Certifications: ISTQB.
- Location Requirement: Must reside in Mexico City.
