Sferea is hiring a full-time, remote QA Lead Jr who must reside in Mexico City to oversee web and mobile application testing. Responsibilities:
- Execute functional tests for Web and Mobile applications.
- Prepare corresponding documentation for functional and non-functional tests and defect documentation, in order to ensure software quality.
Requirements:
- Academic background as a Software Engineer, Computer Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, or related field is essential (graduate or degree holder).
- Experience in executing software testing (unit, component, integration, system, smoke, alpha, beta, acceptance).
- Experience in application testing.
- Experience in API testing.
- Experience participating in the software development lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- General programming knowledge in any language (Java or PHP preferred).
- Analytical, calm, and capable of abstraction.
- Good spelling/grammar.
- Test plan design.
- Define testing strategies.
- Preparation of test matrix (CPS).
- Assign and manage team activities.
- Desirable certifications: ISTQB.
- MUST LIVE IN MEXICO CITY.
