Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate requirements to define test scope, identifying risks and quality goals.
  • Develop clear and detailed test scenarios, and create and maintain robust test plans.
  • Execute manual tests focusing on user experience and ensuring critical behaviors are validated.
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve test automations to increase efficiency and coverage.
  • Analyze results, document bugs clearly and reproducibly, and track their resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between Developers, Product Owners, and Designers, promoting shared responsibility for quality.
  • Ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring adherence to internal standards.
  • Monitor the end-to-end quality process, supporting standardization and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Mastery of testing techniques and types (functional and non-functional) and practical application of SDLC/STLC in defining scope, acceptance criteria, and validation strategies.
  • Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), acting in the refinement and detailing of requirements with a focus on testability and quality from the beginning of the cycle.
  • Programming logic applied to automation and practical familiarity with languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, PHP, or C#, ensuring reading, adjusting, and writing simple test scripts.
  • Experience in UI and API test automation, using tools like Selenium/WebDriver, as well as Postman for requests, payload validation, and initiating API automation pipelines.
  • Ability to analyze logs and debug, identifying failures, inconsistent events, and error patterns to accelerate triage and support the development team.
  • Operational knowledge of CI/CD, integrating test suites into the pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI), ensuring visibility of results and build stability.
  • Objective technical communication, recording defects with reproducible evidence (logs, steps, payloads, videos) and clearly articulating functional impacts to developers and POs.
  • Critical thinking applied to the product: ability to explore scenarios beyond the main path (edge cases, negative flows, behavior under light load) and act proactively in preventing failures.
