As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to scalable B2B commerce solutions within a modern, event-driven system landscape. In our 7-member development team, you will drive the expansion of our central B2B product, aiming to open new markets and further grow our partner ecosystem. You will develop high-performance services using PHP 8, Symfony, and AWS, actively shaping a platform designed for high load, complex integrations, and long-term growth. Your focus will be on stable systems, seamless integrations, and an architecture that functions reliably even with increasing complexity. You will operate in a dynamic environment where requirements and priorities can shift, remaining pragmatic, maintaining an overview, and enjoying the process of moving things forward.
Your Mission with Us
- Develop and optimize our B2B commerce platform with modern architectures.
- Design and implement microservices and APIs for business customer processes.
- Work with event-driven technologies (AWS SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda).
- Collaborate closely with Product and stakeholders for the implementation of B2B features.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, tests, and Clean Architecture principles.
- Actively contribute to technical decisions and knowledge exchange within the team.
Your Experience & Skills
- Solid experience in PHP and frameworks like Symfony or Laravel.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven systems.
- Expertise in API design and B2B integrations.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with agile methods and structured teamwork.
- Active use of AI tools in daily development work and a good understanding of their meaningful application.
- Very good English skills; German is a plus.
