Qualified candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), prior experience as a tech PM/PO or deep hands-on expertise using P2P tools, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. The role offers a base salary of $100,000–$140,000 plus bonus, with remote work available in Eastern Time Zone states (NJ, VA, PA, MD, NC, FL, OH, GA) or in-office options in Cherry Hill, NJ, or Bethesda, MD.

As a Product Manager at Corcentric, you will join a collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will drive the strategy, design, and maintenance of key modules and capability sets in our flagship SaaS solution, focusing on improving the overall user experience and maintaining a leading market position.

This key position reports to the VP, Product Management, within our Downstream Source-to-Pay (S2P) team. You will partner closely with development, professional services, support, sales, and other internal cross-functional teams, as well as customers and company business partners. Your primary focus will be on procure-to-pay (P2P) and core platform features of Corcentric’s flagship product, designed for corporate purchasing and accounts payable business processes targeting mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies. We are a dedicated, growing organization offering significant opportunities.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Guiding the design, development, maintenance, and presentation of the procure-to-pay process business as enabled in our solution: requisition, purchase order, receipt, and invoice.
  • Understanding customer needs and driving product evolution by translating business requirements into software product functionality.
  • Creating, refining, prioritizing, and maintaining the product requirements backlog and product roadmaps.
  • Developing detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications, queries, and architecture for each part of the procure-to-pay process.
  • Managing prioritization and trade-offs among Corcentric customers and development resources.
  • Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders in developing useful analytics and information for use in the platform.
  • Working with the development team on User Interface (UI) design/validation, sprint reviews, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Supporting the creation of materials to educate and train cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Assisting sales and services teams as the product subject matter expert.
  • Maintaining an awareness of current research and best practices in the field of procure-to-pay product management.

The P2P Product Management team is distributed globally and primarily operates remotely. We are considering candidates interested in working remotely out of the US Eastern Time Zone in the following states: NJ, VA, PA, MD, NC, FL, OH, GA. For candidates who prefer an in-office work environment, we operate offices in Cherry Hill, NJ, and Bethesda, MD, although your immediate team members may not be local to those locations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or comparable career experience.
  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for a technology company, demonstrating deep product expertise; alternatively, extensive experience utilizing procure-to-pay (P2P) tools in a non-Product role.
  • Passion for dissecting challenges and developing innovative solutions.
  • A very strong ability to analyze and synthesize complex topics, then simplify and organize them for others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have

  • An MBA.
  • Technical understanding of coding and IT standards.
  • Jira/Confluence experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript or PHP.
  • Experience collaborating with international team members.
  • Experience with source-to-pay, payment, or invoicing processes, contract lifecycle management, catalog management, B2B commerce or sourcing software/services, or an ERP platform.
