About the Role: Product Architect

We are seeking a skilled Product Architect to lead the technical direction across our diverse product portfolio. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing scalable architectures, guiding feature implementation, and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices throughout the codebase. Collaborating closely with Product Management, you will translate business requirements into robust technical designs, while continuously exploring and integrating AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product codebase through hands-on exploration and experimentation.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable software architectures that align with current and future product requirements.
• Oversee the technical delivery of products, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and engineering workflows.
• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to contribute to the product roadmap, requirements definition, and release scheduling.
• Identify and address technical gaps in the end-user experience with practical, innovative solutions.
• Estimate software development efforts, propose alternative solutions, and prioritize development tasks effectively.
• Provide hands-on development support for escalated customer issues, leveraging deep codebase familiarity to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends, including AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows, evaluating their potential for product and process enhancement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in an architectural or technical leadership capacity.
• Strong technical background, including experience with software testing products suchs as TestRail.
• Proficiency in core technologies: PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Experience with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, or additional programming languages is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, system design, and API-driven development.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices and a keen interest in applying emerging AI capabilities to software quality and engineering.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to transform raw product requirements into functional software architectures and designs.
• Self-directed, intellectually curious, and persistent in exploring optimal solutions.
