Responsibilities and Attributions
- Ability to make a strong impact across various engineering areas and directly address cross-tribe and organizational-level problems.
- Possesses extreme versatility, demonstrating competence in a wide range of engineering areas and proficiency in various specialties.
- Resolves super complex organizational-level problems, making them simple or appear simple.
- Sets organizational-level technological trends that are used and recognized in the market.
- Possesses deep knowledge of the company's architecture, all domains, their contexts, and how they interact.
- Fully understands the business domain and establishes a system architecture that promotes reuse, agility in creating new functionalities, and ease of integrating new businesses.
- Ensures the construction of the long-term vision for the Engineering area.
- Ensures the sustainable evolution of the Engineering strategy by following the roadmap and research initiatives.
- Seeks innovation opportunities and promotes initiatives that bring direct or indirect benefits to the business.
- Transforms business solutions into functionalities beyond the organization (open-source projects or new products).
- Plays a relevant role in the Technology community in the market.
Skills and Prerequisites
- Proactive attitude and "hands-on" profile.
- Experience in microservices architecture environments.
- Experience in complex system architecture.
- Advanced experience with event-driven architectures.
- Experience in continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes (Service Mesh is a plus).
- Experience with Observability.
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts and Configuration Management.
- Cloud experience (AWS preferably, GPC/Azure are a plus).
- Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.).
- Advanced experience with NoSQLs (MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis, etc.).
- Advanced experience with Message Brokers (Kafka mandatory).
- Experience with Linux environment.
- Advanced experience with programming languages (Golang, Typescript/Node.js, PHP, Kotlin, etc.).
- Experience with different release strategies (Canary, Feature Flags, A/B Testing, etc.).
