About the Client

For one of our clients, a technically advanced e-commerce agency, we are looking for a driven Pimcore Specialist. This is the place for a true professional who believes data is the new oil and thrives on fast webshops and complex integrations. You will join an experienced, driven team in Rhenen or Rotterdam, with ample opportunity for remote/home working. You will work from a modern office on the edge of a nature reserve, but your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional results for ambitious brands like PME-Legend, Swiss Sense, and ANWB.

What You Will Do: The King of Data Architecture

As a Pimcore Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for everything related to data, PIM, and integrations. You will build the foundation for high-performance e-commerce by elevating the data architecture to a top level.

• Your Expertise: Technically complex data models and integrations are your domain. You will ensure data flows seamlessly between PIM, ERP, and CMS, using Pimcore as your preferred tool.
• Technology Dive: You will work daily with the most modern stack (PIM, headless, APIs). Your sharp eye will always be focused on the performance and scalability of the platform.
• Collaboration and Innovation: You will work closely with fellow specialists and clients to apply best practices. You will take initiative to continuously improve processes, tools, and code quality.
• Pimcore Power: You will use Pimcore for complete data control and integrate it perfectly into the e-commerce engine (often Magento).

What You Bring

You are the data expert who embraces technical challenges and works with a drive to excel.

• We get excited if you have: extensive experience with Pimcore, preferably in complex e-commerce environments.
• It helps if you have: a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and of course PHP. Experience with Symfony and integrating systems (PIM, ERP, CMS) is important.
• You fit well in this role if you like to: write clean, maintainable code (TDD is familiar) and are familiar with version control via Git and the Agile methodology.
• You score extra points with: knowledge of RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, and Redis.
• Crucial: You are analytically strong, communicative (English is important), and possess a healthy dose of humor.
