PHP/React Developer (Remote in Germany)

Pyrexx GmbH: PHP/React Developer (35 - 40 h/week)

Pyrexx GmbH manufactures high-quality smoke detectors, provides specialized services to the housing industry, and licenses innovative software for complex service and administration processes. We offer coordinated fire protection solutions for the housing industry, service providers, and trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the backend of a complex ERP application and customer portals, primarily utilizing GraphQL.
• Contribute to shaping the future of critical company software.
• Solve complex challenges related to process optimization for housing industry operations (including appointments, material management, duty rosters, and cloud telephone systems).

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PHP and React.
• Experience with any MVC Framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Experience consuming APIs in various formats (REST, GraphQL).
• Fluent English for teamwork.
• Good German skills are desirable for cross-team communication and coordination.

Extended Optional Qualifications:

• Experience with ReactNative.
• Experience with Elastic or related NoSQL technologies or GraphDBs.

Our Technology Stack:

• Backend/Database: PHP / MySQL / Memcached / Elastic / Redis.
• API: Laravel API (GraphQL) used in all new application parts.
• Frontend/Mobile: ReactJS for portals, React Native for apps.
• Legacy: Web app utilizing a proprietary PHP Framework.
• Tools: Jira / Confluence / Gitlab / Jenkins.

What We Offer:

• Work location flexibility: Remote within Germany or in our office.
• Mandatory 2 weeks in the Berlin office required only for onboarding.
