The Role: PHP/Web Developer & CMS Integrator

This position involves integrating client websites into our enterprise-level content management system (CMS) using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Responsibilities also include the development, customization, and configuration of PHP modules utilized across multiple client websites, alongside any required custom PHP development.

You will join our Professional Services department, collaborating with Analysts, Project Managers, and Web Developers. This is a client-focused role, requiring strong communication skills. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients on large-scale projects and advance your skills within an exciting team.

What You Will Do

• Produce high-quality CMS-driven sites based on detailed functional specifications.
• Collaborate with clients and Project Managers to ensure high-quality website designs and timely project deliverables.
• Develop maintainable and reusable PHP applications to meet client needs, including comprehensive code testing.
• Thoroughly test sites before client delivery.
• Write detailed client-facing documentation for your work.
• Advise Implementation Analysts on the estimation, design, development, and implementation of projects.
• Assist in maintaining, developing, and documenting our PHP modules.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles is essential.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON).
• Experience collaborating with colleagues to develop project specifications.
• Self-motivated and organized, capable of meeting tight deadlines in a project-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills.

Advantageous Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Unit Testing (e.g., PHP Unit and Jest).
• Good knowledge of Node.JS.
• Knowledge of PHP Frameworks (e.g., Laravel).
• Cloud experience working with AWS.
• Experience with GIT workflow.
