As a PHP Team Lead, you will contribute significantly to the technical design, development, and implementation of the MODE application ecosystem. This role extends beyond writing production code; a typical week might involve brainstorming technical architecture options, providing feedback to enhance development processes, reviewing Pull Requests from team members, resolving unexpected bugs, or improving unit test coverage.
We are seeking an exceptional PHP Team Lead eager to join a growing, strong development team. Excellent communication skills are crucial for this role to address the numerous challenges and high-volume demands of MODE users.
REQUIREMENTS

- Strong sense of task ownership, both individually and for the team
- Full-Stack developer with excellent command of PHP
- Excellent command of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent command of object-oriented programming concepts and coding best practices
- Excellent command of source control (preferably Git and GitHub)
- Excellent command of Linux (preferably Ubuntu) and familiarity with basic Development Operations
- Excellent command of relational databases (preferably MySQL)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with the Development Team and Business Analysts
- Experience in and desire to participate in mentoring and shaping the development process
- A desire to contribute to the transformation of heavily used enterprise systems through the implementation of best practices, standards, and strategic refactoring
- Experience in code reviews
- Demonstrated aptitude for estimation and self-direction
- Enjoys working in a collaborative small team environment
- 7+ Years of development experience
- Experience with AWS services, Docker, Bootstrap, the Go language, Ruby on Rails, React, Agile Development, and Test Driven Development.
- Experience in debugging, examining logs for root cause analysis, refactoring production enterprise systems, and building/consuming RESTful APIs / SOA.
