Overview
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and be proficient in various programming languages and frameworks. You will be responsible for developing high-quality web applications and services, ensuring optimal performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git and SVN for code management.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server to manage data effectively.
- Engage in Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery timelines.
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and decisions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks.
- 3+ years of Symfony experience.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
- Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
- Understanding of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP) and API development.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles to create user-friendly applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment using project management tools like Jira or Trello. Ideal candidates will also have experience with additional technologies such as Django, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, TypeScript, AJAX, JSON, XML, DevOps practices, system architecture design, data visualization techniques, e-commerce solutions, SEO best practices, wireframing tools, responsive web design principles, application development methodologies (MVC), and more.
