PHP / MySQL Developer with PrestaShop Experience (Support for Senior Developer – Freelancer or Remote)

We are a company with over 20 years of experience in website and e-commerce development. You will work directly with a Senior Developer, providing technical support, collaborating on ongoing tasks, and assisting in the evolution of PrestaShop projects.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, a willingness to learn, autonomy, and a focus on delivery.

• Proven experience in PrestaShop.
• Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Smarty, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience in WordPress is valued.
• Ability to work alongside a senior developer, receiving guidance while also contributing proprietary solutions.
• Autonomy, rapid learning, and a growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the Senior Developer in the development and maintenance of PrestaShop stores.
• Customization of modules, themes, and specific functionalities.
• Integration with external APIs (payments, ERPs, carriers, CRMs, etc.).
• Diagnosis and resolution of bugs and performance issues.
• Technical optimization (SEO, speed, security, and best practices).
• Collaboration on process documentation and continuous improvement.

Highly Valued Skills

• Portfolio or real projects in PrestaShop.
• Experience with PS versions 1.6, 1.7, 8, or 9.
• Knowledge of Git, Cloudflare, and Linux servers (bonus).
• Ability to work autonomously but always aligned with the senior developer.
• Team spirit and continuous improvement mindset.

Remote work, with optional in-person visits.
