As a PHP Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the continuous development of an established and evolving SaaS platform. You will participate in the design, programming, and maintenance of new features, applying best web development practices. You will collaborate closely with our Product Development Director and the development team to deliver reliable, high-performance, and secure solutions.
This position is suitable for an autonomous individual who enjoys working across the entire stack, understanding the business context behind the code, and progressing quickly within a human-sized team.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Optimization
- Design, develop, and maintain web functionalities in PHP using CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring their integration with platform services.
- Optimize MySQL databases (indexing, complex queries, migrations).
- Ensure application performance and security by applying best practices (OWASP, vulnerability prevention).
Quality & Maintenance
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Participate in code reviews and apply team standards.
- Diagnose and correct production issues.
- Document completed work to ensure continuity.
Collaboration
- Participate in technical discussions and propose product-adapted solutions.
- Work with the team to deliver clear and functional interfaces.
- Effectively communicate progress and technical challenges.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in PHP web development.
- Experience with CodeIgniter or Laravel in production environments.
- Excellent understanding of the MVC model and service-oriented architectures.
Technical Skills
- Languages & Frameworks: PHP 7.4+, PHP 8, CodeIgniter, Laravel.
- Database: MySQL (optimization, indexing, migrations).
