PHP E-commerce Specialist I

Responsibilities and Attributions

• Serve as the focal point and provide support for architectural decisions, disseminating best practices, and mentoring less senior developers.
• Develop and sustain the OMS (Order Management System), ensuring performance and resilience for high-volume, mission-critical operations.
• Lead the refactoring of legacy code and elimination of technical debt, raising the quality of the codebase.
• Implement the entry of new brands onto the platform and manage the complexity of hybrid inventories (Physical Stores, Distribution Centers, and Reseller Spaces).
• Engage in Pair Programming and actively participate in System Design discussions to ensure application scalability.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in PHP.
• Solid experience with Laravel.
• Strong expertise in modeling and performance optimization for relational and non-relational databases.
• Deep knowledge of Redis and advanced caching strategies.
• Regular practice with Design Patterns, Unit Tests, and Observability.
• Knowledge of AWS and Lambdas (necessary for maintaining existing routines in Python).
• Experience with deployment pipelines using Git and GitHub Actions.

Differentiators (Preferred Skills)

• Previous experience in the E-commerce, Retail, or Logistics/OMS segment.
• Knowledge of the Apache NiFi tool.
• Advanced Python: For optimization or creation of new Lambdas.
• Front-end: Notions of React and TypeScript (for eventual specific maintenance tasks).
