We seek a passionate Chief Architect to lead product advancement and ensure the delivery of highly valuable, safe, and secure software solutions to our customers. As a key member of the Platform Development team, you will be responsible for defining technical and architectural specifications, establishing and maintaining code review guidelines, and developing complex requirements and prototypes. You will mentor platform developers, providing feedback aligned with Sparkrock product standards, and serve as the product technical expert across various Sparkrock departments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical designs to ensure adherence to product standards.
• Research and suggest new technologies and platforms for product enhancement.
• Define technical and coding standards across the platform.
• Establish and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Develop complex solutions and code prototypes.
• Define and manage the product release process lifecycle.
• Document comprehensive application architecture.
• Deliver technical deep dives to resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Develop and execute ITDs (Implementation Technical Designs).
• Mentor and educate platform developers.
• Serve as the platform technical expert, interacting effectively with other teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in major programming languages.
• 6+ years of experience in PHP Development (Mandatory).
• 5+ years of experience building full-stack solutions.
• Hands-on experience implementing unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend systems.
• Proven track record of effective interaction with senior management.
• Demonstrated success in creating and managing strong, product-driven technical standards.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• Quality mindset and detail-oriented approach.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• DevOps experience.
• Experience with ERP product development.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technology-related field.
• Previous experience in remote work environments.
