We are seeking a passionate Chief Architect to drive product innovation and deliver highly valuable, safe, and secure software to our customers. This key role within the Platform Development team involves defining technical and architectural specifications, creating and maintaining code review guidelines, and coding prototypes and complex requirements. You will mentor platform developers, provide feedback aligned with Sparkrock product standards, and serve as the product technical expert across various Sparkrock departments.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate technical designs to ensure alignment with product standards
- Evaluate and suggest new technologies and platforms for the product
- Define technical and coding standards
- Define and participate in code reviews
- Code complex solutions and prototypes
- Define and manage the product release process
- Document application architecture
- Deliver deep dives to solve complex problems
- Develop and execute ITDs
- Mentor and educate developers
- Interact with other teams as the platform technical expert
Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant field
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in major programming languages
- 6+ years' experience in PHP Development (must)
- 5+ years' experience in building full-stack solutions
- Hands-on experience implementing unit/integration tests in both backend and frontend
- Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
- Proven track record of creating and managing strong product-driven standards
- Strong English communications (oral and written)
- Quality mindset and detail-oriented
Nice to have
- DevOps experience
- Experience with ERP product development
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technology-related field
- Previous experience in Remote jobs
