We are seeking a passionate Chief Architect to drive product innovation and ensure the delivery of highly valuable, safe, and secure software. As a key member of the Platform Development team, you will define technical and architectural specifications, establish and maintain code review guidelines, and code complex requirements and prototypes. You will mentor platform developers, provide feedback aligned with Sparkrock product standards, and serve as the product technical expert across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate technical designs to ensure adherence to product standards.
  • Evaluate and suggest new technologies and platforms for product enhancement.
  • Define technical and coding standards.
  • Define and participate in code reviews.
  • Code complex solutions and prototypes.
  • Define and manage the product release process.
  • Document application architecture.
  • Deliver deep dives to solve complex technical problems.
  • Develop and execute ITDs (Internal Technical Documents/Designs).
  • Mentor and educate developers.
  • Interact with other teams as the platform technical expert.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in major programming languages.
  • 6+ years' experience in PHP Development (Mandatory).
  • 5+ years' experience building full-stack solutions.
  • Hands-on experience implementing unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend.
  • Proven track record of effective interaction with senior management.
  • Proven track record of creating and managing strong product-driven standards.
  • Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Quality mindset and detail-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

  • DevOps experience.
