Moodle Developer (PHP, MySQL) - Remote Contract

Job Description

As an IT Development Analyst, you will manage the analysis, design, development (using Agile Scrum methodology), and integration of the MOODLE environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze MOODLE software functionalities and align them with user requirements.
• Customize and adjust MOODLE functionalities.
• Develop integration interfaces for external modules.
• Install and configure MOODLE environments.
• Document, monitor, and resolve technical malfunctions within MOODLE.
• Assist with performance measurement and incident resolution.
• Create documentation for developments, support, and implementation procedures.
• Perform other related tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software solution development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with the Moodle online learning platform.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PHP, XHTML/HTML, MySQL, CSS, and JavaScript (including jQuery and Bootstrap).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in database modeling.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Linux and Docker operating systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing software in a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL).
• Experience working on at least one major project using Agile methodology.

Location & Compensation

Location: Telework (Remote)
Compensation: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed-term contract

Note: Fluency in French (oral and written) is required.
