Middle Full-Stack Web Engineer (Node.js/Vue)

Join a Ukrainian product IT company specializing in macOS and iOS desktop applications, with 15 released products for file sharing, conversion, media management, and system optimization.

We are seeking a Full-Stack Web Engineer to own and enhance our company website. You will develop new functionalities for trials, checkout flows, and product launches, improving the existing architecture while collaborating with product and marketing teams to deliver features rapidly.

Technical Stack

• Frontend: SvelteKit, Vue.js, TailwindCSS
• Backend: Node.js, Go, PHP
• Infrastructure: Docker, S3, Cloudflare

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the main company website.
• Understand and improve existing website architecture and functionality.
• Build new features for trials, licensing, and checkout flows.
• Collaborate with marketing on landing pages and product campaigns.
• Set up and maintain web assets like banners and pop-ups.
• Support email marketing infrastructure, including Sendy and MailChimp.
• Assist in migrating marketing automations from MailChimp to Sendy.
• Enhance website performance and page load speed.
• Ensure and improve codebase quality.
• Contribute to other web projects.
• Propose architectural improvements.
• Refactor legacy code for stability or performance.
• Develop new features while maintaining platform stability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 2+ years in a Full Stack Developer role or similar.
• Frontend Frameworks: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks like SvelteKit or Vue.js.
• JavaScript: Strong skills in TypeScript and VanillaJS.
• Backend: Extensive knowledge of Node.js for server-side programming.
• Language: English proficiency at B1+ level (for documentation and written communication).
• Cloud Storage: Experience with S3 buckets or similar systems.
• Databases: Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• APIs: Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Frontend Optimization: Solid understanding of front-end optimization techniques and web rendering.
• DevOps: Experience with Docker and Docker-compose for containerization and deployment.
• CSS: Advanced skills in front-end development using Tailwind CSS.
• Architecture: Strong understanding of application architecture and software design principles.
• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate closely with product and marketing teams.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Go and/or PHP (versions 5.2 and 7+) as server-side languages.
• Hands-on experience with React or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience integrating payment solutions (FastSpring, Stripe, Paddle).
• Background in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.
• Experience building or supporting checkout, trial, subscription, or paywall flows.
• Experience supporting high-traffic marketing or product-driven platforms.
• Track record of launching independent projects end-to-end.
• Experience with BaaS platforms (Directus, Supabase, Firebase, etc.).
• Experience integrating with the Cloudflare API.
