Mid-level PHP/Laravel Backend Developer (N2 Support)

Our client is a Brazilian technology company specializing in data analysis and compliance solutions.

We are looking for a Mid-level PHP/Laravel Backend Developer to join the N2 Support team, ensuring the maintenance, stability, and continuous evolution of our systems, data, and APIs. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and correcting incidents in production environments, as well as optimizing existing solutions.

The candidate must be available for full-time dedication during business hours. All work will be performed remotely (home-office), using their own equipment and internet connection (minimum 300 Mbps download and 130 Mbps upload). Access to company resources will be via a Linux (Ubuntu) virtual machine (VM), fully monitored and standardized for the entire development team, with the best computational resources for individual use. Access will be granted by the company through its own credential, via VPN.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize ITSM tools for tracking, managing, and responding to tickets.
• Provide support and maintenance for backend systems in production, ensuring service continuity, stability, and availability.
• Identify, diagnose, and correct bugs, failures, and incidents in systems, data sources, integrations, and APIs, ensuring their agile and effective resolution.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and performance indicators to identify root causes of problems and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Work with Web Crawler for content analysis, extraction, and indexing.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using good software development practices, ensuring clean, efficient, secure, and sustainable code.
• Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities, proposing solutions that optimize the development, support, and implementation of new functionalities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure rapid resolution of critical problems and continuous product evolution.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage demands, ensuring compliance with deadlines and delivery expectations.
• Interact with internal company areas and clients whenever necessary for understanding, alignment, and resolution of demands.
• Demonstrate adaptability to new technologies, tools, and changing requirements in dynamic environments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Backend development using PHP/Laravel.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and Vue.js.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP API integrations.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB and DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, especially Git.
• Knowledge of microservices-oriented architectures.
• Knowledge of security practices for web applications and performance optimization.
• Experience with Web Crawlers development.
• Experience in analyzing and resolving incidents in production environments.
• Experience with application monitoring and observability analysis.
• Previous experience in high-criticality environments.
• Proficiency and use of Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development, using them to increase productivity, support incident resolution, optimize code, and accelerate the development cycle.
• Analytical capacity for complex problem solving and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
