Key Responsibilities
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate critical and recurring incidents to pinpoint the exact cause of failure, focusing on definitive solutions rather than just symptom treatment.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Deep dive into server logs and perform end-to-end request tracing.
- Bug Fixing and Hotfixes: Directly modify source code to implement emergency corrections, ensuring high-quality production deployments.
- Technical Documentation: Create and update knowledge bases (KBs), incident resolution playbooks, and document temporary workarounds while permanent fixes are developed.
Required Skills & Experience
- PHP: Solid ability to read, interpret, debug, and maintain code, including identifying exceptions, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Angular: Experience in supporting front-end applications, identifying interface errors, consuming APIs, and adjusting components.
- AWS (Basic Knowledge): Navigate and understand cloud architecture (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch for log analysis) to troubleshoot infrastructure issues impacting applications.
- Databases: Proficiency in SQL queries (queries, joins, procedures) for investigating data integrity and correcting inconsistencies (SQL Server).
Desired Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of C# and the .NET Ecosystem for support.
- Knowledge of Python for support.
- JavaScript (JS): Support in maintenance, DOM manipulation, and debugging of front-end applications.
- Laravel: Familiarity with the framework to streamline investigation and maintenance in PHP projects.
- Linux: Command-line knowledge for server navigation, file manipulation, permissions, and direct log analysis.
- Git: Proficiency in version control for creating branches, commits, and opening secure Pull Requests (PRs) when applying hotfixes.
