This is a remote position offering the opportunity to learn, advance, mentor, and be recognized for both individual and team contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team, data team, other software engineers, and managing principles.
- Handle both team-based and solo assignments/projects.
- Utilize Jira for project management, including refining, planning, estimating, and accomplishing work tasks.
- Perform frontend development for websites and digital projects, ensuring alignment with designer comps.
- Implement frontend updates, new features, and bug fixes using ReactJS, SCSS, and HTML based on Jira requirements.
- Execute backend development within the Laravel ecosystem.
- Design and create robust backend APIs for frontend consumption.
- Debug and fix existing functionality and design issues across digital website properties.
- Establish API connections with 3rd party data providers.
- Conduct unit testing and general code testing.
- Apply knowledge of Release Management and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Participate in daily standups following Scrum Agile methodology.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working as a software developer/engineer.
- Bachelors in computer science or other technology field preferred, but not required.
