Responsibilities and Attributions
- Write readable and maintainable code, fix bugs, and contribute to defining tools, technologies, and processes following software engineering best practices.
- Implement highly complex solutions autonomously, ensuring progress and minimizing delay risks by proactively identifying potential requirement issues.
- Conduct and utilize analyses to inform technical decisions.
- Elevate the team's software quality testing practices, identifying and mitigating risks at the code, functionality, or project level.
- Lead the solution design process, considering associated technical risks and dependencies.
- Participate in resolving incidents within your scope of expertise.
- Contribute to the backlog by identifying and suggesting system improvement opportunities, including performance optimization, documentation, security, and integration tests.
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide mentorship through pairing sessions and team presentations.
- Analyze the required effort for demands in relation to business needs and dependencies, continuously learning to improve estimation accuracy and task prioritization.
Skills and Prerequisites
- Experience with GoLang.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience with REST API development and integrations.
- Knowledge of automated tests (unit and integration).
- Knowledge of good development practices (Clean Code, SOLID, Code Review) and secure development.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of PHP (legacy and modern) is a plus.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch is desirable.
- Knowledge of Architecture, DevOps, and Cloud.
- Knowledge of Messaging (Kafka).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring.
