• Employment Type: CLT (Full-time employment)
• Work Model: Remote
• Work Schedule: 9 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 6 PM. Flexible hours based on schedules and deliverables.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Automated Test Analyst to join our development teams. This role is crucial for ensuring software quality through efficient and scalable test strategies and automation.

The ideal candidate will possess an analytical and investigative mindset, with the autonomy to structure and evolve test automations. This includes ensuring comprehensive coverage of critical scenarios, maintaining execution stability, and supporting continuous project evolution.

You will focus on Web, API, and mobile test automation, collaborating closely with developers and product professionals to deliver high-quality software.

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Backend API test automations (primary focus), as well as Web and mobile tests, ensuring coverage for critical and regression scenarios. Our systems are heavily focused on Java and PHP (Legacy).
• Create, organize, and enhance automated test scenarios, ensuring clarity, reusability, and ease of maintenance.
• Develop automation scripts and frameworks using Python, Robot Framework, and Playwright.
• Execute and monitor automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enhance release security.
• Perform API and integration validations, verifying requests, responses, and communication flows between systems.
• Investigate failures in automated executions or unexpected application behaviors by analyzing logs, requests, and systemic flows.
• Support the team in advancing quality practices, promoting best practices in test automation and organization.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure clear acceptance criteria and high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with test automation using Python.
• Practical experience with Robot Framework for creating and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience in Web test automation using Playwright.
• Expertise in API test automation and endpoint validation (requests, responses, and contracts).
• Experience in structuring test automation frameworks, emphasizing organization, reusability, and scalability.
• Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using tools like Cucumber.
• Familiarity with testing support libraries and tools such as Capybara, HTTParty, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with automated test execution in CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in analyzing and investigating failures in automated executions, utilizing logs, request analysis, and systemic flows.

Desired Qualifications (Will Stand Out)

• CTFL Certifications.
• Experience in cross-platform testing using tools like BrowserStack, SauceLabs, AWS Device Farm, etc.
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Qase, Zephyr, XRay).
