The manager will focus on customer targeting via social media and selected online media, alongside maintaining company websites and enhancing online branding.
Key responsibilities include initiating Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC) strategies to implement marketing plans. Proficiency in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques is beneficial, as is the ability to identify new online marketing avenues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain all web listings and E-Blast correspondences for programming, education, and development departments.
- Track and monitor the success of online initiatives, reporting findings to key staff members.
- Support Marketing and Advertising consultants in executing marketing plans and promotions.
- Identify and report on digital and social media trends.
- Maintain institutional marketing campaign press and monitor all digital media outlets.
- Assist in creating marketing settlements for each event.
- Stay current on all social media developments and best practices.
- Perform graphic design work.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in Social Media, Interactive, Web, and Public Relations.
- Superior knowledge of web platforms.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and PHP.
- Expertise in online technology, including blogs, social networks, virtual worlds, wikis, mobile, and emerging trends, specifically Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other relevant social media sites.
- Superior understanding of Social Media landscapes, networks, and toolsets.
- Strong communication, research, presentation, and creative skills.
- A passion for new media that inspires colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop.
- Full proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must be creative and capable of innovative problem-solving.
Job Type: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
